Admin Access levels

Superusers of MapUs are categorized into 3 different types, depending on the level of access they have to the different functions presented in the “Admin” menu.

Admin

Admins have access to the basic functions of the menu: 

  • Creating groups for mapping, e.g. based on different departments or personnel roles in the organization
  • Viewing the result data for their created groups
  • Pulling data from their created groups and generating baseline and benchmark reports

Super Admin

Superadmins have access to the same functions as Admins, but they have the additional ability to view and use data from groups they haven’t created themselves. Thus, they are able to:
  • See the results of all groups created in the organization 
  • Use all data in the organization in the reports they wish to generate
Furthermore, they have the ability to create new superusers.

Survey Builder (Premium subscribers)

Surveybuilders have the same level of access as Superadmins. However, they also have exclusive access to the “Manage Survey” tab, where they can administer the survey that generates the mappings in the organization. This allows them to: 

  • Edit and customize the survey’s backgroundata (name, description, resultmail etc.)  
  • Edit and add questions and responses
  • Edit, redefine and create the competences mapped in the survey to match existing strategies and priorities in the organization.
  • Edit the taxonomy behind the presentation of results
  • Create resources for e-learning connected to the survey and the mapped competences. Examples of these could be exercises, videos and presentations, or modules integrated with the organization’s own LMS or other relevant internal systems.
