Baseline Components

A baseline report is a report based on one dataset. Learn more about the different components in a MapUs baseline report.

Watch the video for a full walkthrough of a baseline report and the components included.

Report/ frontpage

  • The report component can be used as a “frontpage” of your report. Here you are able to see the general information for your created report, such as the name of your report, how many respondents that are included, from which to which date your respondents filled out the survey, and the average time it took the respondents to finish it.

Here, you are also shown an overview of all your competences on your platform. If you access the report from a browser, you are also able to click into the specific competences and get a more detailed overview of how your respondents scored.

Top 3

This component gives you an overview of the three competences with the highest score. Use this insight to take advantage of the competences you or your group are already proficient in. Click the specific competences and get a more detailed overview of how your respondents scored.

Recommendation

Contrary to the Top 3, the Recommendation gives you an overview of the three competences that scored the lowest. These are considered especially important to work with if you want to improve your overall skills and competences, and they can give you an indication of where it would make sense to start upskilling. Click the specific competences and get a more detailed overview of how your respondents scored.

Competence overview

This component provides a more detailed overview of all competences, including the average score, how the score is placed on the taxonomy and the distribution of users grouped by their score. Click the specific competences and get a more detailed overview of how your respondents scored.

Normal range

Normal Range is used to show how scores of a respondent, or group of respondents, are spread out from the average. A low normal range means that most of the scores are close to the average, while a high normal range means that the scores are more spread out.

Analyzer

The analyzer is an interactive tool inside the report that allows you to investigate data from that specific report by segments and create analysis within the report itself. You can segment your respondents based on your filter questions.

You are also able to benchmark your results up against a certain score for specific competences. Just add a benchmark score in the Survey Builder when editing a competence, and this benchmark score will be shown for that specific competence in the Analyzer.

Individual user score

This component provides an overview of the total score from each individual respondent. Click on the point of an individual's score and see the details of that respondent’s result.

Question scores

The chart in this component displays the total score from all respondents on all questions on a range from 0% to 100%. The questions are hierarchized from highest to lowest score. The lowest scores are marked in red, while the highest scores are marked in green. Click into the individual questions and see the details on how your respondents scored on that specific question.

Question pivot table

This component allows you to examine the response distribution on a particular question - or a combined response distribution on two different questions.

Export Key Figures

From this page you can export and download your report key figures to an Excel file. The export includes title, description and the average score on all competencies and questions.

Ressources

This component includes the full list of all the resources related to the competencies. You can filter the resources by competence and type by using the drop-downs. Read more about the resources and how to make use of them here.
