A survey is the actual questionnaire used to collect data from respondents. It includes both the main questions that measure competences and any filter questions such as age, gender, department, or role.

A mapping is counted either when a respondent completes the full survey or when they start but do not finish it.

In other words, both completed and partially completed surveys count as mappings. A mapping is only considered complete once all questions have been answered and the respondent reaches the results page.

Yes! MapUs supports all languages equally – regardless of whether they are written from left to right or right to left. Several of our existing frameworks are already available in multiple languages, and you're always welcome to have your own framework translated into one or more languages of your choice.

Here’s a checklist to help you troubleshoot the issue:

Did you enter the correct email in your login request?
Double-check that you typed the correct email address when requesting the login link. Even a small typo will prevent the system from sending the link.

Check your email address in the system
Ask another admin to verify that your email is correctly registered under Admin menu → Manage admins. Typos in the registered email are a common cause of login issues.

Use a magic link
If your email is correct, ask another admin to send you your personal magic login link. They can find it by:

• Going to Admin menu → Manage admins

• Clicking on your name

• Scrolling down to the magic link field

• Copying the link and sending it to you

Click the link to log in
Once you receive the magic link, click it — it will log you in directly.
